A multi-organisation naval infrastructure enterprise preparing for a new operating and contractual model.

Purpose
Make asset management the organising system across strategy, engineering, projects, maintenance, operations, information and assurance.
Contribution
Helped establish the joint vision and operating model; developed strategic asset-management planning, the Asset Management Plan framework, maturity assessments and transformation roadmap; then designed and embedded the enterprise management system.
Useful result
Asset management was integrated into the organisation’s top-level management system and certification to ISO 55001 was achieved.

Establish the wider enterprise capability while proving how live operational data and anomaly detection could support engineering and maintenance decisions.
Contribution
Shaped the service model across people, process, information, technology and governance, including reusable patterns and the deployment lifecycle. Led the wider engineering solution for the proof of value, covering architecture, requirements, user journeys, integration, testing and its supporting information environment.
Useful result
Enterprise capability design and a working demonstrator were brought together, creating practical evidence and a reusable basis for decisions about future deployment.

A complex operational estate with asset records, engineering documents, maintenance data, geospatial information and analytics distributed across different systems and teams.

Purpose
Create trusted information foundations while making operational and strategic decision support more accessible.
Contribution
Established information strategy, requirements, governance, ownership, stewardship and data-quality improvement; designed the asset-information architecture across project and in-service needs; and conceived and built the initial integrated environment connecting structured records, documents, geography and insight.

Leading an enterprise EAM implementation.

An engineering and estate-services business replacing a legacy asset-management system while integrating work across several operational functions.

Purpose
Introduce improved, integrated engineering, asset and service-management processes rather than reproduce the limitations of the legacy system.
Contribution
Led the relevant process streams from design and functional requirements through implementation, data preparation, migration and cutover, working between operational users and specialist implementation teams. Later established a multidisciplinary function spanning information, applications, analytics, quality and change.
Useful result
Integrated processes and prepared asset information were brought into the new enterprise environment, with an enduring internal capability established to coordinate continued improvement.
